Naples, Ft. Lauderdale, and Ft. Myers, Florida
CLB Partners, LLC is pleased to announce that Automotive Management Services, Inc. has acquired three exclusive marquee dealerships from The Shelton Family of Dealerships: Shelton Imports of Naples, Land Rover of Fort Myers, and Shelton Jaguar-Audi of Fort Myers. AMSI, headquartered in West Palm Beach (Florida), manages over 20 automobile dealerships in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee.
CLB Partners acted as exclusive financial advisor to The Shelton Family of Dealerships in the transaction. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Since 1982, Shelton Dealerships has been committed to setting a superior standard of sales and service excellence in south Florida. The family of dealerships began as an extension of two brothers' avid interest in automobiles and racing (Tom and Steve Shelton have raced everything from go-karts to 200 mph prototype sports cars) and has grown into multiple dealerships providing the finest service for the finest of automobiles: Ferrari, Audi, Porsche, Land Rover, Jaguar, Aston-Martin and Maserati.
James D. Parrino, Managing Director and a founding partner of CLB Partners, said the transaction culminates a long-standing relationship between CLB and The Shelton Family of Dealerships. "As an advisor to the Shelton's, we have greatly admired and respected the passion and commitment of the entire organization for the brands they represent and the personal relationships they have developed with many customers over the years," Parrino said. "The acquisition by AMSI recognizes the tremendous value they have created as leaders in the industry."
