Alex J. Abreu
Managing Director

Alex J. Abreu is a Managing Director with CLB Partners, LLC focusing on principal investing activities. Prior to joining CLB, Alex was a Senior Vice President and Senior Client Manger with Bank of America's Middle Market Banking-Financial Strategies Group. The group focused on middle market companies located throughout Southern Florida. Alex led a team of banking professionals in an effort to maximize shareholder value for clients through financial solutions that complimented a company's operating strategy. In this capacity, Alex provided advisory services that incorporated the client's industry, their strategy and capital market alternatives. Solutions included raising debt and equity, as well as mergers and acquisitions advisory services.

Prior to his last position with Bank of America, Alex served as a Managing Director and general corporate finance banker with Banc of America Securities LLC. His responsibilities included identifying capital market opportunities within Bank of America's Commercial Banking franchise in South Florida. Transactions included significant work with distribution, retail, business services, and healthcare companies. During his 17 years with Bank of America, Alex has held a variety of leadership positions within the Middle Market Banking segment as the company evolved into a diversified financial services company with capital market capabilities.

Alex serves on the Executive Board of the board of directors for Family Counseling Services of greater Miami where he has served for the past 11 years, including three years as its President. In addition, Alex most recently served on several University of Florida Foundation committees and as President of the MBA Advisory Board, as well as been an active supporter of the Florida Venture Forum. Alex holds a BS in Finance from the University of Florida.

Michael J. Ho, Ph.D., Managing Director - Michael specializes in issues related to valuation and the structuring and negotiation of merger and acquisition transactions. With hands-on experience in both domestic and cross-border transactions, Michael helps to manage the many intricate details of each engagement.

Peter J. Hughes, Managing Director - Peter focuses on strategic advisory, acquisition analysis, and managing post merger integration. A natural leader with significant sales and marketing expertise and a keen ability to see the "big picture", Peter leads clients through the entire transaction process from the analysis of strategic alternatives through closing on each deal.

James D. Parrino, Ph.D., Managing Director - Jim offers expertise in strategy development, accounting issues, valuation, and merger analysis. In addition to his strong consulting abilities, Jim is often considered the "numbers" expert at CLB Partners and applies the rigorous structure required for both the financial and strategic nature of each engagement.

With significant experience in the financing of middle market organizations, Alex is directly involved in both the acquisition process and implementation of strategy for portfolio companies.

Elizabeth W. DeBiasi, Vice President - Elizabeth provides expertise in managing financial transactions along with addressing ownership transfer issues. With significant experience with financing middle market organizations, Elizabeth is directly involved in both the valuation process and strategic development for client companies.
