Michael J. Ho, Ph.D.
Managing Director

Prior to co-founding CLB Partners, Michael was a Principal in Mergers and Acquisitions and Director of Asia-Pacific Investment Banking at Robertson Stephens & Company, a leading financial adviser to emerging growth companies in the high technology, healthcare, and consumer product and specialty retailing industries. Before joining Robertson Stephens, Michael was in the Mergers and Acquisitions department at The First Boston Corporation, under the direction of Bruce Wasserstein and Joe Perella.

Michael received his Ph.D. in Finance from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia, his MBA in Finance from the Sloan School of Management at M.I.T. and his BS in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Michael has also served as a Professor of Finance at Babson College and Butler University teaching courses in financial statement analysis, enterprise valuation, corporate restructuring and investment banking.

He is currently the Dale S. Coenen Visiting Associate Professor in Free Enterprise at the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, a director of the Telamon Corporation and a member of the Advisory Board for Horizon Business Group.

Michael J. Ho, Ph.D., Managing Director - Michael specializes in issues related to valuation and the structuring and negotiation of merger and acquisition transactions. With hands-on experience in both domestic and cross-border transactions, Michael helps to manage the many intricate details of each engagement.

Peter J. Hughes, Managing Director - Peter focuses on strategic advisory, acquisition analysis, and managing post merger integration. A natural leader with significant sales and marketing expertise and a keen ability to see the "big picture", Peter leads clients through the entire transaction process from the analysis of strategic alternatives through closing on each deal.

James D. Parrino, Ph.D., Managing Director - Jim offers expertise in strategy development, accounting issues, valuation, and merger analysis. In addition to his strong consulting abilities, Jim is often considered the "numbers" expert at CLB Partners and applies the rigorous structure required for both the financial and strategic nature of each engagement.

Alex J. Abreu, Managing Director - Alex is responsible for identifying and structuring acquisitions on behalf of CLB Partners and its equity investors. With significant experience in the financing of middle market organizations, Alex is directly involved in both the acquisition process and implementation of strategy for portfolio companies.

Elizabeth W. DeBiasi, Vice President - Elizabeth provides expertise in managing financial transactions along with addressing ownership transfer issues. With significant experience with financing middle market organizations, Elizabeth is directly involved in both the valuation process and strategic development for client companies.
