In addition to his corporate experience, Jim has authored several articles dealing with the effects of taxation on international mergers/acquisitions, and the impact of corporate merger strategies and industry structure on the success of merger transactions.
Jim earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia. He received his MBA in Finance from George Washington University and his BS from the Fisher School of Accounting at the University of Florida. Jim is also a Certified Public Accountant and currently serves as a Professor of Finance at Babson College and Chairman of Anpesil, LLC, a CLB Partners portfolio company.

Michael J. Ho, Ph.D., Managing Director - Michael specializes in issues related to valuation and the structuring and negotiation of merger and acquisition transactions. With hands-on experience in both domestic and cross-border transactions, Michael helps to manage the many intricate details of each engagement.
Peter J. Hughes, Managing Director - Peter focuses on strategic advisory, acquisition analysis, and managing post merger integration. A natural leader with significant sales and marketing expertise and a keen ability to see the "big picture", Peter leads clients through the entire transaction process from the analysis of strategic alternatives through closing on each deal.

Alex J. Abreu, Managing Director - Alex is responsible for identifying and structuring acquisitions on behalf of CLB Partners and its equity investors. With significant experience in the financing of middle market organizations, Alex is directly involved in both the acquisition process and implementation of strategy for portfolio companies.
Elizabeth W. DeBiasi, Vice President - Elizabeth provides expertise in managing financial transactions along with addressing ownership transfer issues. With significant experience with financing middle market organizations, Elizabeth is directly involved in both the valuation process and strategic development for client companies.
